THERMOSTAR HISTORY
More than thirty (30) years ago, a pioneering invention was made in Italy, the Land of Steam! The foundation of modern Thermostar is revolutionary portable boiler and an interchangeable heating element. Since then, the requirements for better steam technology and the demand for high quality have continuously increased – and so has the success of Thermostar!
Intelligent Technology
An innovative method was invented for the Thermostar Dry Steam Cleaner, which results in super-hot micro steam, easy to use device and a long lifespan. The technology from this invention is now an exclusive feature in all Thermostar devices.
The steam boiler is made of high-grade stainless steel and features detachable heating elements. The boiler is exclusively produced from AISI 304 stainless steel, which is a durable and resistant steel capable of withstanding temperatures up to 600°C. The production is carried out by highly trained technicians using a special welding process. It is welded together and subjected to testing under pressures of up to 70 bar. This welding process offers several advantages, notably the minimal generation of weld spatters, resulting in lower health risks associated with welding fumes when using this method.
The Dry Steam Cleaner features a self-decalcifying heating element. These elements possess four times the power of spiral heating elements, averaging 28W/cm2 instead of 7W/cm2. They boast an extended life service and can be replaced unlike the spiral heaters. Sheathed with a special alloy, they provide maximum power, enabling the fastest possible heating of the water to maintain a consistently high steam temperature. As the temperature rises, the element expands, effectively dissolving lime scale. The self-decalcifying electromechanical float ensures a consistently high temperature.
Steam Never Runs Out
Thermostar offers continuous steam. It requires only a minimal maintenance. An operating hours meter is integrated, along with a self – controlled temperature indicator. Furthermore, special rubber sleeves on the water pump extend the lifespan of the valves.
True Temperature Technology and Two-Chamber System
The Thermostar self-decalcifying electromechanical float guarantees high-quality steam throughout its entire service life. Conventional steam device uses electronic sensors which tend to become calcified quickly, leading to disrupted information exchange and resulting in moist steam. Thermostar uses heating element and has two chamber system. It has a Steam Boiler and a Steam Cleaner Chamber which can be refilled at any time, even when operating at full temperature. This eliminates the need for a cooling-down period during water replenishment.
